Virginia's Story

Virginia Tracey passed away on December 4, 2017 in Briody Health Care Facility. Born in Lockport on April 8, 1928 she was the daughter of Joseph T. and Elizabeth 'Bessie' (Pritchard) Moran.
Virginia worked for Harrison Radiator where she was a secretary. She was a member of St. John the Baptist RC Church, Lockport and enjoyed reading and working on crossword puzzles. Virginia was predeceased by her husband, Timothy Tracey, Jr. on October 16, 2014.
Virginia is the mother of Brian (Joy) Tracey and late Thomas (late Jolene) Tracey; grandmother of Matthew (Marisa) Tracey, Kelly Tracey, and Robbie Tracey; sister of Clarita 'Dottie' (late James) Calos, Msgr. J. Thomas Moran, Shirley (late John 'Jack') Nagel and late Mary Beth (late Robert) O'Neil; also several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call on Friday, December 8th from 4-6 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, December 9th at 10 AM in St. John the Baptist RC Church, 168 Chestnut St., Lockport. Interment will be in Cold Springs Cemetery. Memorial donations to the church would be appreciated.
