With great sadness, the family of Sarah (Grove) Owliaie announces her passing on September 29, at the age of 63, in her son's home in Las Vegas, NV. Sarah, also called Sally, was predeceased by her parents Edwin and Jean Grove.
Sarah graduated from Royalton-Hartland in 1971. A hard worker, she spent the majority of her career working in the dietary department of hospitals and nursing homes including Medina, Odd Fellows and most recently, Newfane Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. Sarah loved working with and taking care of the elderly.
In 2016, Sarah moved to Las Vegas to be closer to her only child, son Benjamin, his wife Mandy and her three grandchildren Layla, Lena and Zeke. She is also survived by her older siblings Roger, Ted, Nancy and Carol as well as great many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Sarah enjoyed sewing, knitting and whipping up something delicious in the kitchen. Most of all, Sarah enjoyed spending time with her family. In 2014, Sarah went to Disneyland with Ben and his family and wore a Princess tiara the entire trip and the amusement of her granddaughters.
A memorial is planned at West Somerset Baptist Church in Appleton, NY on November 18th at Eleven in the morning.
