Ralph T.'s Story
Ralph T. Jabot passed away on January 21, 2017 in Brandon, FL. Born on December 30, 1936 in Oneida to the late Gilbert, Sr. and Bessie Jabot. He married the late Beverly Urtel Jabot on April 24, 1965 in North Tonawanda.
A former resident of North Tonawanda, Lockport and Texas, before moving to Sun City Center, FL in 2012. Ralph retired in 1999 after 35 years of working for General Motors, Tonawanda Chevrolet Plant. He served in the U.S. Army and the National Guard Reserves for 27 years.
He is survived by two sons, Jeffrey (Paulette) Jabot of Brandon, FL and Michael (Sonia Amarena) Jabot of Lockport; six grandchildren, Emily (fiance, Corey Evans, Sr.), Savannah, Jeffrey and Cody Jabot, Michael and Christian Amarena; a great-grandson, Corey Evans, Jr.; a sister, Bonnie (Dean) Curtis of Oneida; two sisters-in-law, Nancy Jabot of Oneida and Carol Urtel Shafer of Middleport; and several nieces and nephews also survive. He was predeceased by his wife, Beverly Jabot, in 2007; and his siblings, Gilbert, Jr., Robert, Barbara Jabot and Betty Wootton.
Funeral services were held on January 26, 2017 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Wimauma, FL.
