June (Truax)'s Story

June (Truax) Burngasser of Pendleton died on September 25, 2017 at the age of 87.
June retired from DeGraff Hospital's dietary department where she had many friends. She volunteered at Good Shepherd Church. June lived for her family, from cooking and baking that special cake to going to all her grandchildren's events. She was a loving and caring person who was still young at heart, she will be truly missed by all.
Wife of the late Vincent Burgasser; beloved mother of Suzanne (late Richard) Brauer, Kathleen Florentino, Diane Burngasser, Nancy (Larry) Weston, Deborah (Howard) Wurstner, Sylvia (Ken Hogg) Cummings and Vincent (Barbara) Burngasser; sister of Ronald (Margaret) Truax, Barbara (late James) Yates and Audrey Truax; predeceased by granddaughter, Christine Brauer; also survived by 18 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation on Wednesday 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM in the WATTENGEL FUNERAL HOME, 533 Meadow Dr., North Tonawanda. Mass of Christian Burial on Thurday at 10:00 AM from Good Shepherd Church, 5442 Tonawanda Creek Rd., Pendleton. Please assemble at Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
