Josephine's Story

Josephine A. Deil was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on January 3, 2018 in Odd Fellow & Rebekah Rehab & Health Care Center. Born on January 30, 1920 in Lockport, she was the daughter of Frank and Rose (Porretta) Palisano.
Josephine worked at Harrison Radiator for 30 years in production, retiring in 1982. She was a member of St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church in Lockport. She enjoyed her Friday Night Card Club and especially loved spending time with her family.
Josephine was predeceased by her husband, David H. Deil, in 1967.
Josephine is survived by her children, Judith (late Ray) Dunker, Sandra (David) Few, David (Linda) Deil and Daniel (Patti) Deil; grandchildren, Julie Cuzzacrea, Suzanne Coakley, Michael Few, Keith Dunker, David Dunker, Lisa Deil, and Brendon Deil; 13 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; sister of the late Phillip, Charles and Joseph Palisano.
Relatives and friends may call on Sunday, January 7th from 4-8 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport, where prayers will be held on Monday, January 8th at 9:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10 AM in All Saints Oratory, 391 Market St., Lockport. Interment will be in Cold Springs Cemetery.
