George R.'s Story
George R. Roslund, 75, died at home on Wednesday, September 20, of natural causes. Born on August 8, 1942 in Buffalo, he served in the Marine Corps from 1960-1964. He then lived in Pendleton and worked at Delphi for 30 years as a machinist, until retiring in 2005. George was a member of P.C.U.M. Church. He loved camping with family and enjoyed hobbies, such as riding his motorcycle and woodworking.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra; children, Tracy (Tod) Meyers, Kerrie (Greg) Platt, Kristy (Paul) Gancasz; grandchildren, Bobby, Melissa, Christopher, Maryah, and Lexi; a sister, Patricia Murdoch; and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, October 14th at 11:00 AM at Pendleton Center Church, 6864 Campbell Blvd. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the UB Foundation for Anatomical Gift Program, P.O. Box 900, Buffalo, NY 14226-0900, in George R. Roslund's name.
