Gail D.'s Story
Gail D. (Parlier) Hayes, 60, of Lockport, wife of Thomas Hayes, entered into rest on Thursday, September 21, 2017 in Eastern Niagara Hospital, Lockport, after a long and courageous battle with Multiple Sclerosis. Born on January 2, 1957 in Lockport, NY to Troy and Ruby (Smith) Parlier.
Gail was an avid reader, cat lover, she enjoyed traveling and listening to the Grateful Dead. She was the fun loving aunt of the family and had a great sense of humor.
Surviving is her husband, Thomas; her mother, Ruby Parlier; brothers, Gary (Janice) Parlier of Newfane and Terry Parlier of Arizona; sisters, Linda (Alan) Rosenbaum of Burt, Rose (Rick) Verheyn of Olcott and Mary Jo Parlier of Chicago. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday September, 30, 2017 at 11 AM in St. John The Baptist R.C Church, 168 Chestnut St., Lockport, NY 14094. Inurnment will follow in Glenwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Niagara County SPCA.
