Betty Mae Zolyome, 87, went home to be with Our Lord, August 4th, surrounded by her family at Our Lady of Peace Nursing Home, Lewiston, NY.
Betty worked for 17 years as the Director of Housekeeping & Laundry at Briody Nursing Home. Betty in her retirement traveled extensively with her husband, Elmer. She was also a member of The Ladies Auxillary at Lockport Memorial Hospital. Betty enjoyed going out every Friday evening with her dear friends that she lovingly referred to as "The Gang".
Betty is survived by her husband of 62 years, Elmer; a daughter, Amy and Carl Bellegia of Niagara Falls; and a son, Scott of Depew; a brother and sister-in-law, Edward and Audrey Zolyome of Lockport; a niece and nephew, L. Robin and Colleen Slate of Lockport and Leslie and Daniel Coate of California; and several great-nieces, great-nephews and great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.
A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
