Artchel's Story

Text size

Artchel 'Bud' Clemons born in Live Oak, FL, on November 1939, the son of Linnie and David Clemons. He moved to New York at age 16. He married the late Donna Meacham in 1958 and they had one son, Ronnie Jay (Shirley) Clemons, who survives him.
Known by all as 'Bud', he worked at Phil's Grocery and then as manager of the first Tops Markets in Wrights Corners. He was to later retire from Fisher Price in Medina where he worked on the Loading Dock. An avid sportsman, he enjoyed hunting and fishing, as well as camping and just being outside in general, and he never passed up a lively game of cards.
Besides his son, he is also survived by his grandson, Ronnie, Jr. and wife, Kim; and his great-granddaughter, Elise, all from New Hampshire; his niece, Martina Smith with whom he shared a special bond; dear friends, Eric Leathers and Darcy DeAeth and children. He also leaves his sister, Margaret Ahern (his twin) and Kathleen Mullis of Georgia, Lela Bronson of Florida. Predeceased by brothers, Renzo, Herbert and Joseph Clemons; and a sister, Lucille Williams. He will be greatly missed by his many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.
Arrangements will be made through Rutland-Corwin Funeral Home, Inc. No prior visitation. A Celebration of Life (Bud Style) will be held at a later date.
