Ann Louise's Story

Ann Louise Strickland (nee Linderman), age 63, passed away quietly from diabetic renal failure at her home in Medina on October 12th. She is the beloved daughter of the Barbara and the late Robert Linderman of Lockport; beloved mother of Amanda (Chad) Kroening of Knowlesville, Rachel Strickland of Rochester, and Joshua Strickland of Lockport; beloved Granny of the Kroening children: Olivia, Tyler, Sophie, and Molly.
Ann lived life with imaginative flair and a generous spirit. She liked vibrant colors, especially purple, and enjoyed creative projects, planning parties, outdoor grilling, and shopping yard sales. Ann was passionate about her beliefs, having fun with her grandchildren, and Yankee baseball.
She is also survived by her siblings, Daniel Linderman of Tonawanda, Paula (Gary) Dorrell of Florida, and John (Gail) Linderman of Lockport. Friends may call at First Bible Baptist Church, 949 Lincoln Ave., Lockport on Thursday, October 19th, 5 to 6 PM. A Celebration of Life begins at 6 PM with a reception to follow. Donations in her name may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
